PhD en Psicología de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Es Profesor Asociado del Instituto de Educación de la Universidad de Chile. Su investigación se centra en registrar de forma simultanea la actividad electroencefalografica de personas en interacción (ej. docente-alumnos), con el objeto de caracterizar el modo en que la actividad cerebral entre participantes se coordina (o no) dependiendo de la dinámica relacional que surja entre ellos. Su docencia se ha focalizado en Neurociencia Cognitiva, Aprendizaje y Educación. Ha publicado en revistas científicas internacionales, ha sido investigador en proyectos FONDECYT y Director Científico de proyecto FONDEQUIP. Actualmente, se encuentra a cargo del Laboratorio de "Neurociencia, Cognición y Educación" (NCE-Lab) del Instituto de Educación de la Universidad de Chile.

PhD in Psychology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. He is Associate Professor of the Institute of Education of the University of Chile. His research focuses on simultaneously recording the electroencephalographic activity of interacting subjects (e.g. teacher-students), in order to characterize the way in which brain activity between participants is coordinated (or not) depending on the relational dynamics that arise between them. His teaching has focused on Cognitive Neuroscience, Learning and Education. Dr. Barraza has published in international scientific journals, has been a researcher in FONDECYT projects and Scientific Director of FONDEQUIP project. Currently, he is in charge of the Laboratory of "Neuroscience, Cognition and Education" (NCE-Lab) of the Institute of Education of the University of Chile.
